Som Unterinntal betegnes den del af Inntalen, som Inn løber fra Melachmundingen ved Zirl få kilometer vest for Innsbruck nedstrøms til den bayerske grænse. Det er hovedbebyggelses-, erhvervs- og transportområde i Tirol. Det tiroleriske Unterinntal er ikke identisk med det tiroleriske Unterland, men udgør kun en del deraf; Unterlandet omfatter også alle bifloder i østlige Nordtirol. Området omkring Innsbruck betragtes nogle gange separat og nævnes derefter som det mellemliggende Inntal.
