Denne renæssancekirke i poldertil (17. århundrede) blev bygget med materiale fra en ældre, mere østligt beliggende kirke. Genplaceringen af både kirken og landsbyen (1649) var nødvendig efter anlæggelsen af en dig. Facaden er blevet restaureret, og interiøret med et 18. århundredes trævalv er under restaurering. Pastor Heldewijs (første halvdel af 18. århundrede) boede i en periode på første sal i tårnet, da præsteboligen var solgt, og han endnu ikke havde anden bolig til rådighed.
Kirken i renæssancestil har et østtårn, hvilket er ret usædvanligt i denne region.
