Landskaber, skove og slotte. Intet tyder på, at denne smukke skov i Beernem i det 18. århundrede var en øde hede. Grev Henri de Meeus lod et slot opføre en hundrede år senere og udnytte det vilde 'Bulnas Campas'. I 1904 kom godset i besiddelse af den adelige familie Lippens, som lod den omgivende slotspark anlægge. Siden 1970 har dette været et provinsejendom (327 ha).
