Hochkirch, obersorbisk, er en by og sæde for den navngivne kommune på østgrænsen af den saksiske Kreis Bautzen i Oberlausitz.
Hochkirch ligger i den sydøstlige del af kommunen, cirka 10 kilometer øst for Bautzen. Mod øst grænser kommunen op til byen Löbau, mod syd adskiller Czorneboh-kæden Hochkirch fra Cunewalde, mod vest ligger Kubschütz og mod nord byen Weißenberg. Med Czorneboh ligger den næsthøjeste højde i Kreis Bautzen lige på kommunens grund, efter Valtenberg.
