Pulsnitz er en saksisk lille by i Landkreis Bautzen på den vestlige kant af Oberlausitz, cirka 10 km syd for Kamenz og cirka 25 km nordøst for delstatshovedstaden Dresden. Pulsnitz er sæde for forvaltningsfællesskabet Pulsnitz.
Den gamle bydel ligger på en højderyg over Pulsnitztalen, og den ligeså navngivne flod udspringer i nabobygden Ohorn. Den lille by er indlejret mellem bakke- og bjergkæderne i det vestlausitziske bakketerræn. Bjergtopperne er for det meste skovklædte.
