Storkommune Groß-Gerau er en kommunal enhed med 276.307 indbyggere i den hessiske regeringsområde Darmstadt. Den traditionelle betegnelse Kreis Groß-Gerau er stadig almindeligt anvendt i overensstemmelse med den kommunale forvaltnings egenbetegnelse.
Storkommunen ligger i den øvre Rhen-grav. Main danner den nordlige, mens Rhinen danner den vestlige grænse. En stor del af kommunen ligger i det hessiske Ried.
