Max-Planck-Instituttet for Radioastronomi ligger i Bonn-Endenich i Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Institutets hovedarbejdsområder er radioastronomi og infrarød astronomi. Max-Planck-Instituttet for Radioastronomi blev grundlagt i 1966. Fra da af blev opbygningen af 100-meter radioteleskopet Effelsberg i Bad Münstereifel-Effelsberg påbegyndt, hvis idriftsættelse fandt sted i 1972.
