Osterbækken i den nordhessiske kommune Kassel er en 7,2 km lang, venstre eller nordlige biflod til Fulda.
Osterbækken udspringer i den sydlige del af Reinhardswald. Dets kilde ligger på den vestlige skråning af Gahrenberg eller på den sydøstlige skråning af Junkernkopf. Den befinder sig ikke langt sydvest for en på 398,5 m o. h. NHN beliggende afkørsel fra den brede skovvej Alte Kohlenstraße, der forbinder den ved landevej 3232 beliggende parkeringsplads Roter Stock i vest med Gahrenberg i øst, gemt i skoven på cirka 390 m højde.
