Stationen Harlingerode var en gennemgangsstation i den tidligere kommune Harlingerode. Den fungerede som stoppested på strækningen Oker–Bad Harzburg.
Byggeriet af jernbanefaciliteterne begyndte den 15. juli 1910. Stationen blev indviet sammen med jernbanelinjen den 1. maj 1912 i hertugdømmet Braunschweig. Åbningen af stationen blev fejret med stor begejstring blandt lokalbefolkningen; således blev en af de første passagerer på strækningen og samtidig den eneste passager, der steg af ved det nyåbnede stoppested, festligt ført gennem byen af lokalbefolkningen. Mange lokale pyntede byen som en „festlighed“ for at fejre den historiske begivenhed for stedet.
