Teltpladsen og to shelters i den sydlige del af et stort græsområde, der hører til Avnstrup spejderhytte. Der findes vand og toiletter i spejderhytten. Shelterne ligger højt og giver et godt udsyn over græsområdet ved Særløse Overdrev.
Spejderhytten har udover denne telt- og shelterplads også et shelter i den nordlige ende af græsarealet.
