I nærheden af Dol de Bretagne står den største menhir i Bretagne med en omkreds på 8,7 meter, en højde på næsten 10 og en vægt på omkring 100 ton. Der er mange legender og historier om denne sten, for eksempel "Det er en fjerdedel af en mile fra byen til den berømte sten i mark-Dolent. Dette navn minder om menneskelige ofre (donere)? Min guide fortalte mig alvorligt, at den blev placeret der af Julius Caesar. Var det nogensinde i skovene? Det er nu midt i et opdyrket mark. Denne Menhir er otteogtyve fod høj og ender spidst; ved basen har jeg målt otte fod i diameter. I alt er det en grålig granitblok med en let flad kegle."
