Shenley er en landsby og civil parish i Hertfordshire, England, mellem Barnet og St Albans. Landsbyen ligger 18,7 miles fra Central London.
Historien om Shenley strækker sig tilbage i tusind år eller mere - den nævnes i Domesday Book. Navnet Shenley er baseret på det angelsaksiske Scenlai, Scenlei eller Senlai, som betyder 'lys eller lysning eller skov'. I den tidlige middelalder var det sydvestlige Hertfordshire meget skovrigt, med isolerede gårde eller landsbyer i skovlysninger. Shenley ville have været en af disse bosættelser.
