Øst Harptree er en landsby og civil parish i Somerset, England. Den ligger 5 miles nord for Wells og 15 miles syd for Bristol, på den nordlige skråning af Mendip Hills med udsigt over Chew Valley. Sognet har en befolkning på 644. Sognet inkluderer landsbyen Coley.
En foreslået forklaring på oprindelsen af Harptree-navnet er fra "hartreg", et gammelengelsk ord for en grå hule.
Ifølge Robinson er det opført i Domesday Book fra 1086 som Harpetreu, hvilket betyder 'Den militære vej ved skoven' fra det gammelengelske herepoep og treow.
