Ejendommen, beliggende på den sydlige side af Parkvejen nær Paterswoldsevej, blev bygget i 1927 som en folkeskole efter design af den daværende kommunearkitekt Siebe Jan Bouma i stil med Amsterdam-skolen. Det er en symmetrisk bygning med en rektangulær grundplan, der består af et centralt indgangsområde med en udbygget halvrund gymnastikhal og to fløje med klasseværelser.
