Klubben blev grundlagt i 1919, efter at forgængeren AFC Aalsmeer blev nedlagt. I 1923 sluttede VV Aalsmeer sig til Amsterdammer Fodboldforbund. Og begyndte at spille i den tredje klasse. VV Aalsmeer blev det år tredje og kunne straks rykke op til 2. klasse. I 2014 fusionerede VV Aalsmeer med Jong Aalsmeer United og RKAV til FC Aalsmeer. Det første herrehold spillede i den sidste sæson i Første klasse B lørdag West II. Det blev her nummer fjortende og sidst. Derfor deltager lørdagsholdet fra FC Aalsmeer i sæsonen 2014/15 i Anden klasse.
