Kongeriget Illyrien var et kronland af Østrig fra 1816 til 1849. Hovedstaden var Ljubljana, som blev kaldt Laibach på tysk oftere dengang.
Indtil 1797 var området opdelt mellem republiken Venedig og Østrig, men den største del af Venedig kom til Østrig, efter at Napoleons Frankrig havde invaderet Venedig. I 1805 kom Illyrien imidlertid til kongeriget Italien, som i virkeligheden var en fransk vasalstat, dette på grund af den nye krig mellem Østrig og Frankrig.
