An der Ecke des "Sandhügels" oder "Zandberg" und der "Nederpolder" befindet sich ein Haus mit einer langen Geschichte.
Zu Beginn des 14. Jahrhunderts war es ein Gasthaus, das "Pelicaen" genannt wurde. Im 16. Jahrhundert wurde es ein aristokratisches Gebäude im flämischen Renaissance-Stil.
Im 18. Jahrhundert wurde angenommen, dass Napoleon kommen und in diesem Haus wohnen würde. Daher fanden viele Renovierungen statt, aber Napoleon Bonaparte kam nie.
Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde es nach einer Spende an ein Kloster ein Kloster.
Während der Renovierungen im 20. Jahrhundert liefen viele Dinge schief. Sie entfernten die Rokoko-Giebel und ersetzten sie durch die Giebel im Renaissance-Stil.
