Das Rote Haus ist ein wunderschönes Bauernhaus mit einer Reihe von Linden und viel Atmosphäre. Das Häuschen ist fast 200 Jahre alt und war ursprünglich eine Doppelhaushälfte. Später fanden nacheinander eine Bäckerei und eine Schreinerei darin Unterkunft. Es liegt ideal als Ausgangspunkt für eine Erkundungstour in der ländlichen Umgebung. Das Rote Haus war auch die Inspirationsquelle des kulturellen Lebens in Rumbeke. Heutzutage ist es ein Restaurant, Teestube.
