Heuvelland mag zwar ein Juwel der Naturschönheit sein, die Rentakker legt ohne zu zögern noch einen drauf. Gastgeber Stefaan, der selbst am Herd steht, bringt 30 Jahre Erfahrung ein, und das merkt man deutlich. Aal findet man vermutlich auf jeder Karte, aber hier erhält er doch einen Ehrenplatz. Es ist natürlich schwer, gegen den verführerischen Duft von gegrillten Köstlichkeiten wie Rib-Eye oder Lammkoteletts anzukommen, und die Salate wirken wie kleine Gemälde; alles wird mit viel altmodischer Liebe zubereitet. Aber egal, wofür man sich entscheidet, Zufriedenheit ist dir wohlverdient.
