Der quadratische Wohnturm ist ein Überbleibsel des mittelalterlichen Gebäudes, andere Teile stammen aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Im 17. Jahrhundert wurden große Umbauten durchgeführt.
Die mittelalterlichen Eigentümer waren die Familien D'Houffalize und Brandenberg, gefolgt im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert von den Familien von D'Eynatten, Berlo und Groesbeek. Die Familie De Lannoy erwarb das Schloss im 17. Jahrhundert und behielt es bis ins 19. Jahrhundert; dann kam es in den Besitz der Berlaymonts. Von ihnen erwarb Baron Adhemar de Royer de Dour de Fraula das Schloss im Jahr 1920 und seine Nachkommen wohnen dort noch immer.
