Der Name Borlo ist germanischen Ursprungs und deutet darauf hin, dass hier einst ein Buchenwald gewesen sein muss. Die Sint-Pieterskerk (1835) ersetzte eine hölzerne Notkirche, die fast zweihundert Jahre hielt. Wenn die Kirche geöffnet ist, schauen Sie sich das Fachwerk in den Seitenschiffen an. In der Nähe der Kirche von Borlo befindet sich der Pachthof mit einer gemütlichen Terrasse im Innenhof.
