An verschiedenen Orten ist noch deutlich die historische Entwässerungsstruktur für die Wiese zu erkennen.
Dieses Gebiet ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, besonders im Juni, wenn ein Meer von Orchideen dich begrüßt. Die Meerlaan (Nederokkerzeel) kreuzt die Berggstraße.
