"Der Dicke von Pamel" (oder auch kurz "der Dicke" genannt) ist eine berühmte Dorfgestalt in Roosdaal (Pamel). Sein richtiger Name war "Victor De Klercq". Er wurde am 14. Juni 1848 in Pamel geboren und starb dort am 16. Februar 1885. Über sein tatsächliches Gewicht kann nur geraten werden, aber Victor war eine enorm breite und schwere Figur. Am 9. September 2001 wurde eine Statue an der Kaaistraat in Roosdaal eingeweiht. Das Bild wurde von dem Künstler Patrick Van Craenenbroeck entworfen.
