Um Wildenburgs Touristen- und Freizeitattraktionen bekannter zu machen, wurde hier im Jahr 2024 ein neuer Wanderweg („optgemakpadje“) und Picknickplatz angelegt.
Der Ort eignet sich ideal als Ausgangspunkt für einen Ausflug in den Landschaftspark Bulskampveld. Dieser Weg ist Teil der neuen 1 Kilometer langen Rad- und Fußgängerverbindung nach Polderdreef .
Es liegt an der Kreuzung zweier Rad- und Fußgängerwege: dem neuen Weg, der die Dorfgrenze öffnet, und dem Steenovendreef, der nach Blauwhuisbossen und zum Wohngebiet Vorsevijvers führt. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderer, Radfahrer und Mountainbiker, die den Landschaftspark Bulskampveld besuchen.
