Gordola ist eine politische Gemeinde im Kreis Navegna, im Bezirk Locarno des Kantons Tessin in der Schweiz. Die Gemeinde umfasst die Fraktionen Gordemo, Scalate, Rongia, Gaggiole und Monti di Motti.
Das Dorf liegt auf einer Höhe von 250 m ü. M. am Eingang ins Verzascatal und am Südfuss von mit Kastanien und Weinbergen bestandenen Hängen, an der Strasse Bellinzona-Locarno und 5,5 km nordöstlich von Locarno. Station der Linie Bellinzona-Locarno der Schweizerischen Bundesbahnen. Die Gemeinde grenzt an den Speichersee Lago di Vogorno und den Lago Maggiore.
