Bad Zwischenahn ist die nach Einwohnerzahl größte Gemeinde im Landkreis Ammerland in Niedersachsen und liegt westlich der Stadt Oldenburg.
Die Gemeinde Bad Zwischenahn liegt im Südosten des Landkreises Ammerland. Hauptort der Gemeinde und deren Verwaltungssitz ist der gleichnamige Ort Bad Zwischenahn am Zwischenahner Meer. Er liegt 17 Kilometer westlich der Stadt Oldenburg. Die Nordsee ist rund 60 Kilometer und die niederländische Grenze rund 80 Kilometer entfernt.
