Bad Oeynhausen [baːtˈʔøːnhaʊzn] ist eine Stadt im Kreis Minden-Lübbecke im Nordosten von Nordrhein-Westfalen. Die Stadt wurde im 19. Jahrhundert als Kurbad gegründet, nachdem auf ihrem Gebiet eine Thermalquelle erbohrt worden war. In der Folgezeit entwickelte sie sich zu einem Kurort von überregionaler Bedeutung mit einem ursprünglich von Peter Joseph Lenné gartenarchitektonisch gestaltetem Kurpark. Heute ist sie Standort zahlreicher Spezialkliniken, insbesondere des Herz- und Diabeteszentrums Nordrhein-Westfalen. Aus der Aktivität der in Ostwestfalen verbreiteten evangelischen Erweckungsbewegung ging die diakonische Einrichtung Wittekindshof im Ortsteil Volmerdingsen hervor.
