Ganderkesee ist eine nahe Bremen gelegene selbständige Gemeinde im Landkreis Oldenburg in Niedersachsen.
Ganderkesee liegt etwa 20 km westlich des Bremer Zentrums, am Nordrand des Naturparks Wildeshauser Geest. Der nördlichste Teil der Gemeinde liegt im Urstromtal der Weser, ist also flache Marsch. Etwa entlang der Ortsteile Bookholzberg – Rethorn – Stenum – Hoykenkamp verläuft die Abbruchkante des Urstromtals. Südlich davon schließt sich das sandige, etwas höhergelegene und leicht hügelige Gelände der Geest an. Von exponierten Stellen am Rand der Geest ist an klaren Tagen die ca. 12 km entfernte andere Kante des Urstromtals in Bremen-Nord zu erkennen.
