Saalhausen ist ein Ortsteil des im nordrhein-westfälischen Kreis Olpe gelegenen Lennestadt mit 1760 Einwohnern per 30. Juni 2020, wobei der Anteil der Senioren mit 20,1 % vergleichsweise hoch ist .
Saalhausen liegt rund zwei Kilometer südlich des zu den Saalhauser Bergen gehörenden Hohen Lehnbergs. Er befindet sich im oberen Lennetal zwischen Altenhundem und Schmallenberg auf einer Höhe von 320 m über NN. Nachbarorte sind Gleierbrück , Bracht , Störmecke und Milchenbach . Durch das Dorf führt die Bundesstraße 236.
