Auf historischen Pfaden führt Sie der Rundkurs im südlichen Eggegebirge rund um die ehemalige Glashütte Marschallshagen unweit des Lichtenauer Stadtteils Holtheim.

Schattig-kühle Laub- und Nadelwälder prägen die Landschaft und machen das Wandern zu einem Erlebnis für Naturliebhaber. Immer wieder bieten sich schöne Ausblicke und sorgen für Abwechlung fürs Auge, während dank zahlreicher Hütten am Wegesrand ausreichend Möglichkeiten zur gemütlichen Rast bestehen.

Die Glashütte Marschallshagen war im 19. Jahrhundert ein wichtiger Glasproduzent und Arbeitgeber im damaligen Kreis Büren
