Description by the author

Die Wanderung führt vom Wanderparkplatz zunächst etwa eine halbe Stunde durch das schöne Beketal. Dann folgt ein ebenso langer Aufstieg durch herrlichen Buchenwald zur Burenlinde, dem mit 368 Metern höchsten Punkt der Tour. Von dort geht es fast kontinuierlich abwärts. Im Lippspringer Wald liegen das ehemalige Bad Lippspringer Forsthaus und das reetgedeckte Jagdhaus des Herzogs von Holstein-Glücksburg am Wegesrand. Vorbei an der „Großen Brichkuhle“, einem der größten Erdfälle der Region, und Hindahls Kreuz verläuft der Weg zum Aussichtspunkt Papenberg. Abschließend geht es recht steil hinab ins Beketal zum Ausgangspunkt.
