Natur zu Fuß erleben in bis zu 300 m Höhe und auf einer Wegstrecke von etwa 5 km. Vor etwa 20 Jahren wurde in Vlotho der „Naturlehrpfad Bonstapel“ geschaffen, der den Menschen näher an die Natur und diese näher an den Menschen heranbringen sollte.
Dieser sehr reizvolle Rundwanderweg erstreckt sich auf einer Länge von cirka 5 km durch das Tal der oberen Linnenbeeke, vorbei an den geheimnisvollen „Sieben Quellen“ hinauf zur Röntorfer Straße, vorbei an der Schutzhütte Steinbründorf zwischen Nettelberg und Großem Selberg und dann am Kleinen Selberg wieder hinunter zum Ausgangspunkt an der Hohenhausener Straße.
Insgesamt 14 Schautafeln am Wegesrand geben den Spaziergänger*innen interessante Informationen zur dort lebenden Tier- und Pflanzenwelt und weisen auf weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten hin.
