Tángel ist eine Ortschaft und ländliche Siedlung der Gemeinde Alicante, angrenzend an das Gemeindegebiet von Mutxamel. Der kleine Bevölkerungskern, der aus nur 36 Einwohnern besteht, setzt sich aus etwa zwanzig Häusern und der Kirche, die der Mutter Gottes der Tugenden gewidmet ist, zusammen, gelegen an beiden Seiten der alten Straße, die Alicante mit Sant Joan verband, direkt nach dem Überqueren der Brücke über den Rambla del Juncaret. Unter den Häusern der Ortschaft stechen das Casa Gran, ein seit 1876 dokumentiertes Herrenhaus, und das Casino de Tángel, das 1916 erbaut wurde, hervor.
