Die vorletzte Etappe des Caminho Nascente ist nicht sehr lang, aber aufgrund der vielen Anstiege ziemlich schwer. Das beginnt bereits in Ourense, wo man von der Brücke über den Fluss Miño direkt steil aufsteigen muss. Im ersten Teil der Etappe geht es über Verkehrsstraßen, später auch über waldreiche Nebenstraßen und unbefestigte Wege. Letztendlich wird kurz vor Dozón der höchste Punkt der Etappe auf 850 m erreicht.
