Das Geburtshaus des künstlerisch und politisch revolutionären Malers ist heute ein Museum. Das Courbet-Museum zeigt etwa sechzig Gemälde und Zeichnungen des Meisters und seiner Schüler sowie Erinnerungsstücke und Erinnerungen an ihn und seine Freunde.
