Es findet im Juli ein Kunstfestival und im November ein Karneval mit zwei flammenden Ölfassläufen statt. Die Walrosse treffen sich am Neujahrstag, um in den Fluss Lew zu springen und Geld für lokale gemeinnützige Zwecke zu sammeln; diese Tradition, die in den 1980er Jahren begann, endete am 1. Januar 2018. Ein jährlicher Halbmarathon namens Ruby Run findet in der Regel im Juni zwischen Holsworthy und Hatherleigh statt, wobei in wechselnden Jahren von jeder Stadt aus gestartet wird.
