Magoula ist ein Stadtteil der modernen Stadt Sparta in Laconia, Griechenland. Es ist der ehemalige Sitz der Gemeinde Mystras. Es ist im Grunde die Entwicklung eines kleinen Dorfes, das an die wachsende Stadt Sparta angegliedert wurde. Es ist ein aristokratisches Gebiet und das Zentrum der antiken Stadt Sparta.
Es wird gesagt, dass es nach dem Wort 'magus' benannt wurde, das etwas Magisches und äußerst Schönes beschreibt. Es ist ein wohlhabendes, schickes Viertel und ein prestigeträchtiger Ort zum Leben. Viele Ähnlichkeiten mit Kifissia und Drafi sind zu finden. Das Sainopouleio befindet sich in Magoula, einem berühmten Freilufttheater, in dem wichtige Festivals stattfinden. Sainopouleio wurde von Manos Hadjidakis als das schönste Theater Griechenlands nach dem in Epidaurus beschrieben.
