Die Brücke ist auch bekannt als Ponte Quattro Capi oder die Brücke der 4 Köpfe.
Das erste Haus links beim Betreten der Insel ist mit Mathilde von Toskana verbunden, die eine wichtige Stimme im Vatikan hatte, aber auch mit dem Trappistenkloster von Orval in Verbindung gebracht werden kann.
