Der Torre Guinigi ist einer der prägendsten Türme in Lucca. Besonders die alten Eichen, die auf der Spitze des fünfundvierzig hohen Turms wachsen, sorgen für sein charakteristisches Aussehen. Der Turm wurde von der Familie Guinigi erbaut, die diese Bäume auf dem Dach als Symbol für die Wiedergeburt pflanzte. Der Turm ist heute im Besitz der Stadt Lucca. Er kann besichtigt werden. Von dem Turm hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt und ihre vielen Monumente. Man muss dann allerdings die 230 Treppen hinaufsteigen.
