Die IJssellinie: Verteidigungsanlagen aus dem Kalten Krieg
Als Antwort auf die Bedrohung durch den Kalten Krieg wurde nach dem 2. Weltkrieg im tiefsten Geheimen ein Plan zur Errichtung einer Wasserlinie umgesetzt. Diese sollte den möglichen Vormarsch der Russen aufhalten.
Die Reste dieses militärischen Verteidigungswerks in Olst werden als Museum betrieben. Mit einem noch vollständig eingerichteten Krankenhausbunker, Kommando-Bunker und Panzerkuppeln, die Sie besichtigen können. Die IJssellinie liegt im Herrenhaus de Haere zwischen Deventer und Olst.
