Duizel ist ein Dorf, das zur Gemeinde Eersel, Provinz Nordbrabant gehört und in der Region Kempen liegt.
Das Patronatsrecht der Pfarrei gehörte seit jeher dem Bartolomäus-Kapitel in Lüttich. Ab dem Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts fiel es an die Abtei Tongerlo. Von 1648 bis 1827 wurde die Pfarrei von der Abtei Postel betreut.
