Die Kromme Nolkering ist ein Rückhaltebecken, das im Heusdensch Kanal zwischen Heusden und Wijk en Aalburg liegt. Die Schleuse wurde 2002 fertiggestellt, nachdem es 1995 zu sehr hohen Wasserständen gekommen war und sich herausstellte, dass die Deiche entlang des Heusdensch Kanals und der Afgedammten Maas unzureichenden Schutz boten. Die Sperre wird bei einem Wasserspiegel von 3,42 m +NAP geschlossen, damit der Wasserspiegel in der Afgedammten Maas nicht höher als 3,50 m +NAP ansteigt. Das Wasserwirtschaftsamt Rivierenland ist Eigentümer und Verwalter dieser Sperre.
