Die Heilige Stede war ein Kirchengebäude, das zwischen 1346 und 1347 anlässlich des Wunders von Amsterdam erbaut wurde, an dem Ort, an dem das eucharistische Wunder mit der heiligen Hostie gemäß der katholischen Überlieferung in der Amsterdamer Kalverstraat stattgefunden hat. In den Jahren 1421 und 1452 brannten die damals bestehenden Kapellen teilweise bei den großen Stadtbränden von Amsterdam ab, wobei das Monstranz mit der Hostie verschont geblieben sein soll. An derselben Stelle wurde die Kapelle zur Heiligen Stede dann wieder aufgebaut. Jedes Jahr fanden eine Sakramentsprozession und ein Sakramentsmarkt statt, um den Vorfall zu gedenken, und es wurde eine feierliche Hochmesse gefeiert.
