Alu Bari Camp 2 liegt auf 3915m Höhe.
Es gibt ein unteres Lager auf 3716 m, wo häufiger gezeltet wird. Hier gibt es einen Stall , aber wenig Platz. Das Gelände ist abfallend. Es gibt keine Annehmlichkeiten.
Der Standort liegt auf der Route von Marpha zum Dhaulagiri Base Camp 1 und wird normalerweise als erstes Camp für diese Wanderung genutzt. Es liegt auch auf dem Rückweg vom Aufstieg zum Phampus Peak / Thapa Peak , aber die meisten besteigen Marpha auf einmal.
