Die Standseilbahn Santa Luza, besser bekannt als Elevator , hat eine Station in der Av. 25. April, in der Nähe des Krankenhauses. Es befindet sich in einem erhöhten Bereich hinter dem Bahnhof und kann erreicht werden, indem man vom Bahnhof aus einen kostenlosen Aufzug nimmt und eine Metallbrücke überquert oder Viana Shopping betritt.
Mit einer Länge von 650 Metern ist sie die längste Seilbahn des Landes und benötigt etwa 7 Minuten, um auf eine Höhe von 160 Metern zu gelangen.
Die Seilbahn wurde erstmals 1923 gebaut und kürzlich komplett renoviert. Die kleine Kabine bietet Platz für etwa 12 Passagiere und fährt alle 15 Minuten.
Die Seilbahn ist vom 1. Januar bis 31. Mai und vom 1. Oktober bis 31. Dezember von 8:00 bis 18:00 Uhr in Betrieb. In den Sommermonaten vom 1. Juni bis 30. September ist die Seilbahn von 8:00 bis 20:00 Uhr in Betrieb.
