Planica 1954 war ein internationales Skifliegen-Wettbewerb, der vom 13. bis 14. März 1954 in Planica, PR Slowenien, FPR Jugoslawien, stattfand. Es war die erste Veranstaltung nach der ersten großen Hügelrenovierung. 25.000 Menschen besuchten in vier Tagen. Am 11. März 1954 fand das erste Training auf der Srednja Bloudkova K80 Normal-Hügel statt, das auch als Qualifikation für die Hauptveranstaltung auf dem großen Hügel zählte, mit insgesamt etwa 100 Sprüngen in allen Runden. Der norwegische Skispringer Thynes war an diesem Tag mit 82 Metern der längste, während der schwedische Skispringer Erlandson bei 86 Metern den Schnee berührte. Janez Gorišek war mit 70 Metern der beste unter den einheimischen Springern.
