Dolomites XC Ski Track, which leads from Lienz to Nikolsdorf, follows the Drau River Cycle Path and offers a good view of the Lienz Dolomite Mountains. Each year, it serves as venue for the legendary Dolomites Race, attracting some 2,000 Nordic competitors from all over the world. The groomed and set track is mostly flat with some steep pitches.
