A beautiful walk through the Hageland hills, starting from the Horst Castle parking lot and returning to the castle via the Houwaartberg and the Houwaarde vineyard. We (=Wandelclub Witloofstappers - Kampenhout) did the hike on November 11, 2023, and had to contend with muddy, unpaved roads given the weather conditions at the time. However, this did not detract from the joy of walking and enjoying the colorful autumn landscapes and avenues (Domain Castle of Horst). After all, we were able to enjoy a few hours of sunshine and a delicious lunch awaited us at the Het Wagenhuys restaurant after the hike.
