According to legend, the Klementinum was once visited by a mysterious astronomer who, in the 18th century, carved symbols into the floor of the astronomical tower, forming an incomprehensible code. The library, considered one of the most beautiful Baroque halls in Europe, preserves rare manuscripts and ancient books that some claim contain secret knowledge about astrology, alchemy, and the quest for the "ultimate light."
No wonder writer Dan Brown loves this location.
