The vineum bodensee is a museum of the city of Meersburg and presents the cultural history of wine in Meersburg and at Lake Constance. It is located at Vorburggasse 11 in the upper town of Meersburg and was opened on July 29, 2016. The building is a former Holy Spirit hospital, where the doctor and magnetizer Franz Anton Mesmer passed away in 1815. The vineum bodensee is fully funded by the city of Meersburg and is part of the Culture & Museum department. The vineum bodensee is barrier-free.
